We’re excited to share highlights from Token2049 Dubai, where we launched our latest initiatives, “Hack to the Future” and “AI Meets Web3.” Here’s a recap of the event and what we achieved together. 🚀
Token2049 Dubai: What Went On
Both events took place in the vibrant city of Dubai.
This year’s event was packed with discussions and workshops that pushed the boundaries of blockchain and AI innovation.
We had a fantastic turnout, with over 200 attendees for “Hack to the Future”, and more than 300 attendees for “AI Meets Web3”.
Hack to the Future
On April 15th, “Hack to the Future” kicked off, focusing on the transformative potential of the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP). Participants explored ICP Cross Chain, discovering how ICP enhances the Ethereum and Bitcoin ecosystems with ckETH and ckBTC integrations. They also learned how to build fully on-chain dApps using ICP’s on-chain storage capabilities, ensuring no dependencies on Web3 infrastructure.
The Blockchain for Good session, inspired by the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), encouraged participants to create dApps addressing global challenges like poverty, inequality, climate action, and quality education using blockchain technology.
AI Meets Web3
On April 17th, we held a special event co-hosted by Moledao, EdgeMatrix, LBank Labs, and MetaStone Group.
This session, part of the Web3 Summit Conference, highlighted the top AI and Web3 projects and showcased the achievements of the DeAI Hackathon 2024 winners. The event fostered connections between innovators and investors and explored the transformative impact of AI and Web3 on creating a decentralized digital future.
Welcoming New Partners
We’re thrilled to announce our new partners, including Bybit Web3, Solana Foundation, Aptos, Moledao, Harvard Blockchain Club, ICP.Hub UAE, American University of Sharjah (AUS), Coineasy, Libera, Edu3Labs, Alchemy Pay, Bu Zhi DAO, and XueDAO.
We’ll be working closely together as an incubator for blockchain tech, providing networking opportunities connecting builders with mentors, resources, and events.
