Can you describe Marina Protocol in a few sentences?

Marina Protocol is a Web3 Learn & Earn mobile application designed to make learning about Web3 technologies both engaging and rewarding. Through our Daily Quiz feature, users can easily solve quizzes and earn incentives, making the educational process enjoyable and beneficial.

What is the primary mission or goal of your project?

Our mission is to leverage blockchain technology and social solidarity to address global education and income inequalities. We aim to create a sustainable education and rewards ecosystem through an online academy, offline conferences, and scholarship programs related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, including decentralized finance. Our goal is to reduce the global knowledge gap and enable diverse activities using blockchain technology.

What are the key social or environmental impacts of your project?

Marina Protocol has a significant social impact by enabling users worldwide to solve daily quizzes and earn rewards, leading to several key benefits:

• Quality Education: We help unbanked individuals acquire basic knowledge and skills related to blockchain and other Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies, such as AI, the metaverse, and cloud computing. Since our launch, we have released approximately 300 daily quizzes across eight different fields.
• Reduced Inequalities: By providing an accessible platform for learning and earning, we contribute to improving livelihoods and reducing inequalities. Advertisements within the Marina Protocol app play a crucial role in sustaining operations and addressing technical challenges.

Our project aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), utilizing blockchain technology to tackle global challenges and promote sustainable development.

How do you measure the impact of your project?

We measure our impact through various metrics, including the number of registered users, participating countries, Daily Quiz engagement data, and support center inquiries. A notable example is our COCOz PFP IP free minting event, where all 5,000 NFTs were minted within one hour of the public launch.

Can you share a story about how Marina Protocol has positively impacted someone’s life or a community?

Marina Protocol is committed to spreading knowledge and education about new technologies to regions with prevalent income inequality. Currently, our app is used by users in 214 countries, with an average of 300,000 to 350,000 daily participants from 150 countries engaging with the Daily Quiz. This widespread engagement helps users learn about the Fourth Industrial Revolution while earning rewards.

Beyond financial rewards, we plan to build a mileage system where accumulated points can be used for local services in retail, distribution, transportation, and lifestyle, based on active user data.

Marina Protocol utilizes:

• AI-Based Quiz Generation: Our Daily Quiz feature autonomously generates quizzes on trending topics related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, ensuring engaging and up-to-date educational material.
• Blockchain Technology: We leverage blockchain to create a fair and transparent reward distribution system, overcoming challenges associated with traditional Web2 systems and building a truly global community.

What are the standout features or awesome innovations that make Marina Protocol unique?

Available on both the Play Store and the App Store, the Daily Quiz feature of Marina Protocol provides accessible, high-quality education while reducing income inequality. The community engagement surrounding each new quiz is a standout aspect, with discussions happening across social channels like YouTube, Twitter, and Telegram, allowing the Daily Quiz to continuously evolve.

What have been the biggest twists and turns in Marina Protocol’s journey so far, and what exciting opportunities and launches can we expect in the next year?

Since our launch on December 22, 2023, we've achieved several milestones:

• Attracted 950,000 users within seven months.
• Selected for Google Cloud for Startups and NVIDIA Inception Program.
• Successfully minted 5,000 NFTs within one hour of launch.
• Collaborated with over 30 Web3 projects.

In the next year, we plan to:

• Token Launch: Launch our Utility Token (SURF) and Governance Token (BAY) in 2024.
• Wallet Integration: Integrate various non-custodial wallets in addition to Web3 wallets, to facilitate user rewards by 2024.
• Game Studio Launch: Establish a game studio by Q1 2025 to release games that integrate with Marina Protocol accounts.
• CEX Listing: List on major global CEX platforms between 2024 and 2025.
• Secure Investment: Secure strategic investments for our application, online academy, conferences, and scholarship programs.

Why did you choose to join Blockchain for Good Alliance?

We joined the Blockchain for Good Alliance (BGA) to harness the potential of blockchain and Web3 infrastructure in addressing global issues and achieving the UN's SDG goals. Through BGA, we have established valuable partnerships, conducted community events, and initiated discussions for integrating Web3 wallets. Moving forward, we aim to engage with more Web3 projects and plan to list on global exchanges like Bybit to implement user rewards.

Approach blockchain not just as technology, but as a tool for real-world applications. It can offer significant benefits in areas like education, finance, and everyday life.
