This global hackathon, culminating in an Oscar-inspired event, will take place on November 11, 2024, in Bangkok, Thailand. It’s a convergence of innovation, blockchain, and sustainability, aimed at addressing the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through cutting-edge technology.
17 SDGs Challenge: A Global Hackathon for Sustainable Impact
The 17 SDGs Challenge focuses on harnessing blockchain’s power to solve real-world challenges across all 17 of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. From climate action to quality education, the challenge invites innovators to submit blockchain-driven solutions that can make a global impact.

- Global Participation: Over 100 projects are expected to be submitted, with themes ranging from clean water to responsible consumption.
- Prize Pool: A 100,000 USD prize awaits the winning projects, offering a significant opportunity for developers to take their ideas forward.
- Finale Event: Selected finalists will be flown to Bangkok for a live Demo Day and awards ceremony on November 11, 2024.

Web3 Oscar: A Celebration of Blockchain for Good
The Web3 Oscar, will be held on November 11, 2024, following the 17 SDGs Challenge hackathon at Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok. This Oscar-inspired event celebrates the top 10 groundbreaking projects that leverage blockchain for social good, where the teams have the opportunity to pitch live at the event. Attendees will include global thought leaders, blockchain pioneers, and innovators dedicated to advancing the SDGs.

Project Incubation
BGA's Incubation Program continues to support blockchain projects that address real-world issues, providing resources, branding, and market support. We are proud to back projects such as:
